About the Author

Corrine Gosling is an author from Alexandria, Virginia, USA. Often at home working with her English Sheepdogs Sherlock and Adler by her side, Corinne was inspired to write a story about her canine companions. Taking inspiration from his literary namesake, the author penned her debut children’s picture book Sherlock and the Baskerville Beast.

When she isn’t writing stories, Corinne Gosling enjoys taking Sherlock and Adler out for walks.

About the Illustrator

Andrea Alemanno is an Italian illustrator with a distinct, vibrant and traditional style that combines classical and modern techniques. An artist from an early age, Andrea has received wide acclaim for her work in Italy – particularly children’s books. Her first published book ‘Barchetto’ was shortlisted for the 2013 ‘Premio Letteratura Ragazzi di Cento’ award, coming third overall. Outside of children’s illustrations, Andrea has also worked on graphic design, cartography, and role-playing game projects.
