TWO BRAND NEW NOVELS FROM THE ‘PAX AND THE MISSING HEAD’ AUTHOR
SET TO RELEASE IN 2026 AND 2027, RESPECTIVELY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
David Barker, acclaimed author of the London Falling series of middle-grade novels, has agreed a new two-book deal, publisher Tiny Tree Books is pleased to announce. The two new standalone novels will be published in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
“I’m very excited to be working with the Tiny Tree team on two more books,” says David Barker. “They are very different stories from my previous trilogy but I know I’m in good hands with Tiny Tree’s excellent production values. And I can’t wait to share the final results with readers.”
James Shaw, publisher at Tiny Tree Books, said: “I’m really pleased to have signed David on for two more projects. Working with David on the London Falling series has been fantastic, and I’m excited for readers to experience these two new worlds he has created”.
The first of Barker’s two new middle-grade novels sees an orphan boy swept into a world of danger and discovery in the Moon’s first city, when a mysterious mentor takes him under his wing. An Oliver Twist-style adventure set amongst the stars.
Swords and sorcery meet sci-fi in the second novel, as the book’s heroine dares to explore a perilous land of permanent night, filled with mythical beasts and monsters, and a strange, glowing boy for company.
Pax and the Secret Swarm, David Barker’s latest middle-grade novel, will be published by Tiny Tree on October 9th 2025.
