Growing up in Wales, Fran always dreamed of becoming a cartoonist, a writer, or a stuntwoman. After attending Newport Film School, she went on to have a successful career as an assistant animator at Steven Spielberg’s Amblimation studio, before turning her hand to children’s book illustration. These days, she spends her time writing silly stories and drawing doodles. She’s still hoping to become a stuntwoman one day.

As a child, David always loved drawing. After attending art college and then film school—where he met his wife, Fran—he moved to London, where he worked for several years as an editor for the BBC, creating children’s animated TV series such as El Nombre and Monty the Dog, before eventually turning his hand to the world of digital art. Now living in Dorset, David spends his days working alongside his wife, turning her stories into reality. He also enjoys running, swimming, and supporting Lincoln City Football Club
