About the Author

Alison Paige is an author from Stockport, Greater Manchester who loves classic fairy stories and writing in rhyme. It’s fitting then that her first book — Mrs. M’Grady — is just that!

About the Illustrator

Paddy Donnelly is an award-winning Irish author and illustrator of picture books. Now living in Belgium, he works in a range of illustration styles and his debut author illustrated picture book, ‘The Vanishing Lake’, won the Gold Medal in the Picture Books category of the Independent Publisher Book Awards 2021. In 2022 he was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal for his picture book with Jeanne Willis – ‘Hom’, while his latest author illustrated picture book ‘Fox & Son Tailers’ was shortlisted for the An Post Irish Book Awards. He wishes Pluto was still a planet.
