Tiny Tree Books Announces Eighteen New Acquisitions, All Releasing in 2026

Tiny Tree Books is proud to announce seventeen new titles from new and established authors, all of which will be published in 2026. Having experienced incredible growth in 2025, the imprint will continue to platform and showcase new and emerging voices in children’s publishing alongside more established names. 

“2025 has been an incredible growth year for Tiny Tree,” says Publishing Manager James Shaw. “In 2026, we’re looking to be even more ambitious, and we’re excited today to share a little bit more of what we’ll have to offer over”. 

Following the release of Wolf Girl earlier this month, Sally Anderson returns with We Don’t Like Bertie! — a brand new picture book in early 2026. When a new baby brother steals the spotlight, mischief follows in this playful picture book about siblings, big changes, and one cheeky imaginary friend. 

Ben Levey (Lively Lila: A Dance of Happy Discovery) also returns to Tiny Tree with Maybe? Mais Oui! A joyful picture book that celebrates the power of imagination. Join a curious young boy and his dog as they transform everyday objects into extraordinary adventures. Coming early 2026.

Aaha and the Time Travelling Ted is a super fun sci-fi adventure from author Jonathan Brough. Travel through time with a ten-year-old scientist as she struggles to find her way back to the present, accompanied by a rebellious robot companion and a suspiciously familiar Commander. Illustrated by Hannah Jesse (Curse of the Dearmad, Where Is My Smile?) Coming early 2026.

Zoe Clipsham’s imaginative picture book Twig’s Adventures follows a cat named Twig through all of the grand escapades that his imaginative owner, Gracie, can dream up. This is a celebration of friendship, imagination, and the bond between a child and her cat. Coming early 2026.

A gripping tale set on the shores of the Loch Ness, Richard J. Sutton’s novel delves into ancient history and modern mysteries, as the two threaten to collide. Sleeper on the Mountain is a YA thriller you won’t forget in a hurry. Coming spring 2026.

The Grumlyns are a gang of mischievous monsters causing chaos. But what happens when they meet their match? Can you guess the monstrous twist in this new picture book by Fran Brylewska? Coming spring 2026.

Author Sarah Surgey will debut the first book in The Subject Society — a new series of short, early reader, chapter books that combine STEM and the arts. It’s a book all about friendship, curiosity, and the power of working together. With illustrations by Larisa Ivanković. Coming spring 2026.
